Known as the “King of the Cowboys”, he showed up in more than 100 movies and various radio and TV scenes of The Roy Rogers Show. In a significant number of his movies and TV scenes, he showed up with his better half, Dale Evans, his brilliant palomino Trigger; and his German shepherd, Bullet. After their embraced little girl Debbie was executed in a congregation transport mishap in 1964, they moved to the 67-section of land (27 ha) Double R Bar Ranch in Apple Valley, California, living in the close-by town.

Rogers was a Freemason and an individual from Hollywood (California) Lodge No. 355, the Scottish Rite Valley of Los Angeles, and Al Malaikah Shrine Temple. He was additionally a pilot and the proprietor of a Cessna Bobcat.

In 1941, the couple adopted a daughter, Cheryl Darlene. Two years later, Grace gave birth to a daughter, Linda Lou. A son, Roy, Jr., was born in 1946. Grace died of complications from the birth a few days later, on November 3.
